VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – University students have faced several challenges in the fall semester due to the pandemic, including a combination of hybrid, online and in person classes along with limited outside activities.
University of South Dakota President Sheila Gestring says they surveyed their students to get some reaction.
Gestring says their instructors have had to adapt to many unique situation.
The semester will end just before Thanksgiving Day. Gestring says they hope to make it there.
The latest report from USD shows 38 active infections among staff and students, with 144 in isolation.
