ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Beginning at approximately 8am Thursday, December 11^th, 2025, the following road will be closed to thru traffic & water will be off in the following areas for utility work:

Road closed:

N 5^th St. from 8^th Ave. NW to 10^th Ave. NW

Water off:

2^nd St. from 8^th Ave. NW to 10^th Ave. NW

9^th Ave. NW from N. 1^st St. to N. 2^nd St.

10^th Ave. NW from N. 2^nd St. to N. 5^th St.

And

5^th St. from 8^th Ave. NW to 10^th Ave. NW

The road is scheduled to be closed & water will be off until approximately 5 pm or until finished.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.  The Public Works Department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.
