NISLAND, S.D. (Press Release) – A  Vale, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died Saturday in a one-vehicle rollover southeast of Nisland.

A 2004 Kia Optima was traveling on Snoma Road, which is a gravel road, when the driver, 31-year-old Christopher Flaigg, lost control. The vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled several times.

The deceased, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.

The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
