SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls Police are looking for a man in a van who tried to run over two officers late Sunday afternoon.

Officers attempted to stop a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country van near 11th Street and Phillips Ave. The van did not stop and sped off at a high rate of speed.

About 20 minutes later, police checked an address near Paulton Avenue and Southeastern Ave. The van returned and officers tried to speak to the driver. The van backed up, rammed the police car, then nearly hit two officers.

One of the officers fired their weapon at the van is it left.

Police are still trying to find the man and van.
