YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – A number of interim committees met ahead of the South Dakota special legislative session set to begin next Monday.
Senator Craig Kennedy of Yankton was on the interim Commerce & Energy Committee.
Kennedy says the federal money the state got came with lots of rules.
Kennedy says the interim committees gave their reports to the Joint Committee on Appropriations.
The state got about $1.2 billion from the federal government to help pay for coronavirus related costs.
