PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Governor Kristi Noem has turned to a Capital veteran as her next Chief of Staff by hiring Tony Venhuizen.

He held the same position for former Governor Dennis Daugaard and has been acting Chief for the past few months.

Venhuizen says he wants to help the Governor with her agenda.

Venhuizen says he will carry out the plan laid out by Governor Noem.

Venhuizen lives in Sioux Falls and will not move to Pierre.
