PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – This will be the final legislative session for Representative Ray Ring of Vermillion. He is term limited this year and will not run for any other office.

Ring says he enjoyed most of his time in Pierre.

A Democrat, Ring has been in a slim minority for most of his time in the legislature. He says that makes it hard at times to find help for his bills.

Ring, a former economics professor at USD, says he and his wife may split time between the south and Vermillion.
