Water continues to rise at Lake Poinsett

LAKE POINSETT, S.D. (KXLG) – As of Friday morning water elevations continue to slowly rise at Lake Poinsett says Hamlin County Emergency Management Director Dave Schaefer. He says that nearly a half foot of water has over topped both U.S. Highway 81 and South Dakota Highway 28 adjacent to the lake.
