Water to be off in parts of Aberdeen Tuesday, Wednesday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – Beginning at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, the water will be off at the following locations for water valve replacement:

         3rd Avenue SE between S Kline St & S Arch St and

        S Arch St between 3rd & 4th Ave SE

And

       4th Ave SE between S Arch St & S State St and

       S State St between 3rd & 4th Ave SE

The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use. Water is expected to remain off most of the day. Work will be completed as quickly as possible.

And then beginning at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, water will be off in the following areas to replace a water valve:

          South Grand Street from Goodrich to Prospect and

          South Prospect Avenue from Wells to Grand

The Public Works Department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use. Water is expected to remain off all day, work will be completed as quickly as possible.
