Watertown City Council approve tailgating at Prairie Lakes Ice Arena

WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- Through an approved license transfer of location at the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena, the City of Watertown has removed itself as the outdoor vendor to serve beer, allowing a different tailgating environment.

City Manager Amanda Mack presented the information to the council.

Mack explains some additional changes.

Mack talks about the lack of revenue for the city.

Councilman Mike Danforth confirmed the intent of the action.

The council voted unanimously to approve it to accommodate tailgating for the fans of the Watertown Shamrocks. The footprint of this license will be condensed to cover only the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena building.
