Watertown man drives into entrance of post office

WATERTOWN, S.D. (KXLG) — Mark McClendon, age 60 of Watertown, was unhurt Monday morning after his car lurched over a curb and rammed into the front entrance of the Watertown post office in the downtown area.  Watertown Police Department Corporal Trevor Barthel  explains what happened.

No charges have been filed. Watertown Police sealed off the area and the post office was closed down this morning to allow for the removal of glass and other building debris. Photos show a large opening in the front of the building where large windows were broken from the impact of the accident.
