WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) — A Watertown man is dead from what police say appears to be a suicide Monday morning.
Assistant Watertown Police Chief Tim Toomey says police were called to the 1800-block of 9th Avenue Southeast a little after 8 0’clock Monday morning.
Toomey says the victim was 24-years-old.
Toomey says it was a traumatic event for the motorists who witnessed it.
The Watertown Police Department has had difficulty locating any of Rodriguez’s relatives.
The event remains under investigation by Watertown police and the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
