WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- The Watertown Police Department last month investigated the rape of a child under 13 years old. Further investigation led to the arrest of Brady Boswell, 18, of Watertown. Boswell was charged with first-degree rape of a victim less than 13 years old, according to police.

Law enforcement officials say Boswell is being held on a $50,000 cash bond at the Codington County Detention Center since July 11.

An additional sex crimes investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are pending for Boswell, police said.
