WATERTOWN, S.D.(KXLG)- It was announced at last week’s Watertown School Board meeting that a sponsorship agreement for Arrow TV was approved with Dakota Financial Services and Dakotaland Federal Credit Union.
Dakotaland Federal Credit of Watertown, SD, Branch Manager Sam Mooney explains more.
Arrow TV has become the designated streaming location for Watertown Arrows High School Sports on its YouTube channel, and the streams can be accessed free of charge.
Mooney talks more about how the ball got rolling.
Mooney does his best to describe Arrow TV.
With YouTube, you can subscribe to the Arrow TV “channel,” and then every time the “channel” goes live on YouTube, you will get a notification on your phone if you have the app downloaded and utilized.
Mooney talks more about the sports coverage Arrow TV provides.
Mooney says that nothing beats seeing the game in real life.
Many people attend the game in person and watch/listen with earbuds/headphones on their phones.
The exclusive Arrow TV agreement is for three years. Mooney said he worked closely with Watertown School District Business Manager Heidi Clausen, Athletic Director Craig Boyens, and Ryan Remmers, who is also the Watertown Police Department Assistant Chief.
The students who do any work on Arrow TV broadcasts get paid for every game that they are there. Mooney welcomes any students interested in Arrow TV broadcasts to reach out.
