WEBSTER, S.D. (Press Release) – An additional day of service has been added at the Webster exam station to accommodate the needs of northeast South Dakota area residents who need to renew a driver’s license or identification card.
The exam station, located in the basement of the Day County Courthouse, is currently open every Friday. From Sept. 22 through Oct. 27, the station will also be open every Tuesday. Hours of service will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by appointment only on those days. To make appointments at all exam stations call 605-773-6883.
If you are eligible, the South Dakota Driver License program strongly encourages online renewal at https://dps.sd.gov in lieu of scheduling an appointment at exam stations. Renewing online allows eligible citizens to renew their driver’s license or identification card and skip the trip to a driver license exam station.
The Driver Licensing Program is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
