MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- Friday was Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day. South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs Deputy Secretary Aaron Pollard talks about how you can recognize the day.
More than 27,000 South Dakotans served in the Vietnam War, with 210 perishing. Pollard says it’s important for Vietnam veterans to take advantage of the benefits they’ve earned.
