WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) — If the skies seem a little hazy this week, or the sun doesn’t seem quite as bright, there’s a reason for that, according to National Weather Service forecaster Travis Tarver.

He says you might notice it early in the morning or in the evening with some brilliant colors around sunrise and sunset.

He says it’s rare for the Weather Service to issue any kind of alert for these conditions.
