Wilmot school district dismissed classes early Wednesday due to Covid

WILMOT, S.D.(KXLG)- Wilmot School District sent their students home early on Wednesday after one of their lunch room employees tested positive for COVID-19. KXLG reached out to Superintendent Larry Hulscher for more information.

The lunch room employee will be quarantined for the recommended 10 days. The other 2 lunch room employees were either vaccinated or have had coronavirus in the last 90 days and are exempt from quarantine. After a deep cleaning of the lunch room, everything will return to normal today.
