ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that forward and NAHL Top Prospect, Alexander Gullichsen has announced his commitment to play Division III hockey for Utica College.
The 6’3″ 195lb forward from Turku, Finland played in 58 games for the Wings during the 22-23 season totaling 18 goals and 17 assists, 35 pts. Alexander also represented the Wings in the NAHL Top Prospects games this past February, earning one assists in 2 games played. For his efforts Alexander was named NAHL Central Division Star of the Week twice (December 12-18 & February 6-12).

Utica is a DIII School for hockey and plays out of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference. They are located in Utica, NY they ended the 2023-24 season with a 25-3-1 overall record including going a perfect 20-0-0 in conference play earning them a regular season and UCHC Tournament titles. Their season came to an end with a 4-5 OTL to the University of New England in the NCAA Tournament.
