Two Wings Commit To Two Different DIII Schools

ABERDEEN, SD (AberdeenWings.com) – Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that veteran forward Patrick O’Connell has committed to play DIII Hockey for Plymouth State University.  The 5’9 159lb forward spent two seasons with the Wings, scoring 14 goals and 32 assists in 112 games played.  Patrick was also selected to the 2019 & 2020 NAPHL All Star Game, and led the NAPHL 18u in assists in the 19-20 season.

Plymouth State plays DIII Hockey out of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference.  They had a 23-4-1 overall record in 22-23 including an 18-0 conference record, regular season & conference tournament championship.

ABERDEEN, SD (AberdeenWings.com) – The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce that forward and NAHL Top Prospect, Michael Casey has committed to play hockey at DIII Endicott College.  The 6’1 172lb 20 year old from Media, PA joined the Wings just prior to the trade deadline.  He finished with 3 goals and 8 assists in 29 games played for the Wings.  Prior to that he served as the captain of the Corpus Christi IceRays, where he had 8 goals and 14 assists in 34 games played.  Michael played for the South Division in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in February, getting an assist in 2 games played.

Endicott College is a NCAA Division III School located in Beverly, MA.  They play out of the Commonwealth Coast Conference.  They had an overall record of 23-3-2 with a conference record of 18-1-2 during the 22-23 season.  including a 6-0 win in the CCC Championship game over No.5 Curry.
