Wings package part of opportunity to help Boys & Girls Club

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen Area recently received an anonymous donation of $4,000 and Hub City Radio has offered to help double the contribution. Individuals can contact the Club at (605-262-2525), mail a check to the Club or text HCR to 76278.

The Boys & Girls Club has served more than 100,000 curbside meals to youth ages 1-18 in the past seven months and continues to provide food. The meals are available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Starting Monday, Oct. 19 the service will be provided Monday, Wednesday and Friday (with two meals and two snacks served Monday and Wednesday, and three meals and three snacks served on Friday).

The Club was closed from March 13 to June 1, when it reopened to a limited number of youth. On the first day of school, the Club opened to 150 youth in a pod-style environment.

A Wings Package will be given away to individuals who donate. The package includes two general admission season tickets, a 10-year anniversary Aberdeen Wings t-shirt, Aberdeen Wings coozies and stickers, and two Boys & Girls Club 50th anniversary tumblers.

Each $50 donation gets one chance to win. Each donation in $100 increments gets three chances to win.
