Wintry weather to impact area

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Get ready for the first taste of winter weather of the season.

While it’s still hard to tell exactly where the rain-snow cutoff line will be, temperatures will plummet and winds pick up as we head into the weekend.

Kari Fleegel, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen, said that people should start preparing for the conditions to drastically change.

Fleegel said it’s still a bit hard to predict how much snow the area will receive.

Regardless of the eventual total, Fleegel said there will be an accumulation of snow.

Not only that, but falling temps and strong winds will make for some chilly conditions.
