Sioux Falls, SD (NSUWolves.com) [Games 1&2]– The Northern State baseball team was in action in a site reversal double-header Saturday. A slow day caused the Wolves to drop both games against the Cougars.

GAME ONE: NSU 1, USF 6
- Sioux Falls put all six of their runs on the board firs, scoring three of them in the first inning to go up early
- The last three USF runs came in the top of the third to extend their lead to 6-0
- Mateo Tahsini attempted to get a rally going for the Wolves as he singled in the bottom of the sixth; he ran home on an Andrew Niaves hit, scoring Northern’s only run of the game
- NSU left four runners on base and had four hits on 24 at bats

- NSU made a last chance push in the bottom of the seventh by loading the bases with two outs; a 1,3 groundout ended the game
- The Wolves left eight on base, five of which were in scoring position

Sioux Falls, SD (NSUWolves.com) [Game 3] – NSU baseball wrapped up their series against the Sioux Falls Cougars Sunday, March 22. The Wolves came back late after giving up the lead mid-game.

Records: NSU 7-10 (NSIC 5-7), USF 10-11 (NSIC 7-4)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The bats were hot early for the Wolves as they put up two runs in the first inning
- Out of the gate Dalton Kesti got on base with a double; Casey Vining brought him in with a homer to center field
- Innings went by until Sioux Falls got on the board, tying things up 2-2 in the fifth
- A Wolves three-up-three-down in the bottom of the fifth brought the Cougars back to the plate, they scored to take the lead 3-2
- Andrew Niaves got on first in the bottom of the seventh, he go to second on a Jake Weidner ground out; a two-out double from Kesti brought Niaves home to tie the game
- Northern took the lead in the bottom of the eighth when Mateo Tahsini crossed home on a Drew Benson double
- Ethan Price retired three of the four faced batters to end the game and secure the Wolves win
