Aberdeen, SD (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State volleyball took easy care in their match versus Minot State Tuesday. This is the fourth straight NSIC victory for the Wolves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves beat the Beavers with a cool 3-0 sweep; the set scores were 25-14, 25-6, and 25-12
- Northern State hit .435 as a team, recording 45 kills, 40 assists, 44 digs, and 10 service aces: the defense forced Minot into 17 errors and a season-low -.064 hitting percentage
- After falling behind 5-2 in the opening set, the Wolves rattled off 10 straight points to take a 12-5 lead
- A seven-of-eight scoring stretch late in the first set pushed Northern State from an 18-13 advantage to a 25-14 win
- Runs of 8-0 and 9-1 in the second led to a quick 25-6 set victory for NSU: the Wolves hit .650 with 13 kills and no attack errors
- In the midst of a 6-0 run, Linnea Nesheim scored three consecutive points (one kill and two aces) to put Northern on top 12-7
- Katelyn Schroeder led the offense with 15 kills on .542 hitting, while adding two service aces and 10 digs
- Ava Nilsson directed the offense with 35 assists; she added 10 digs, three kills, three service aces, and two block assists on the night
- Nesheim recorded 10 kills on a .563 attack percentage and had three aces; other Wolves with aces were Sara Moberg (1) and Sidonia Wattier (1)
- Lydia Nelson contributed on both ends, putting down seven kills on a .600 hitting percentage while racking up three block assists
