HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sloan Johannsen kicked off the dual with a commanding 18-0 technical fall victory over Preston Xayachak at 3:56 in the 125-pound bout
- The Mustangs answered with their lone victory of the evening at 133-pounds, a 14-9 decision in favor of Chase Hanson
- The Wolves ranked wrestlers rattled off a pair of bonus point wins at 141 and 149 pounds, extending the Wolves lead to 14-3
- No. 12 Braydon Mogle defeated Dylan Louwagie in an 11-0 major decision, scoring three points in the first, four in the second, and four in the third
- It went into the third period for No. 4 Wyatt Turnquist, but he secured his seventh technical fall of the season at 5:34, defeating Jacob Messner by a score of 19-0
- Griffin Lundeen and Izaak Hunsley tallied 7-0 and 8-2 decision wins over their opponents
