Duluth, MN (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University soccer team fall to Minnesota Duluth in their non-conference match 3-1. The Bulldogs were able to capitalize on three goals; all coming in the second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern State’s offense was on the attack with Hannah Smith scoring a goal in the first 15 minute of play; Megan Fastenau tallied her first assist of the season on the play
- The Wolves offense stayed on the attack racking up two shots-on-goals in the final minutes of the first half by Chloe Voss
- NSU led at the half, however UMD responded early in the second on a penalty kick goal
- The Bulldogs took the lead in the 76th minute and extended that to 3-1 less than a minute later
- The Wolves lead the first half in shots 4-1, but fell behind in the second half to the Bulldogs 12-3
- Each team recorded six corner kicks and six fouls in the game, with the Wolves notching a game high four saves
