Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) The Northern State University men’s and women’s basketball teams concluded the regular season and qualified for the NSIC Basketball Tournament. Full game and tournament information, as well as ticket details are outlined below for both programs.
Northern State Men – NSIC Release
The Wolves men earned the 11th seed in the tournament and will travel to Winona State on Wednesday, February 28 for the first round. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. against the Warriors. Live video and stats will be available through Winona State with links provided on the schedule page at nsuwolves.com. David Tukesbrey will have the play-by-play on Fox Sports Aberdeen 1420 AM & 98.5 FM on Wednesday night from Winona, MN.
Northern State Women – NSIC Release
The Northern State women earned the fourth seed in the tournament and will receive a first round bye. NSU will play the winner of Southwest Minnesota State and Augustana at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 3 from the Sanford Pentagon. Information for games played at the Pentagon, in regards to live video and tickets is outlined below.
NSIC Basketball Tournament Information
The NSIC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments celebrate their 25th year in 2024, scheduled for March 2-5 at the Sanford Pentagon. Fans can purchase their tickets by visiting ticketmaster.com or by going to the Sanford Pentagon box office. In addition to general admission seating, a limited number of suites are available throughout the tournament. To book a suite for your group and watch the action from the best seats in the house, contact Taryn Christion at the Sanford Pentagon at (605) 312-7913.
All rounds of the NSIC Basketball Tournaments played at the Sanford Pentagon will air exclusively live on Midco Sports and Midco Sports Plus. Midco subscribers can view games either on Midco Sports channel 622 or stream via Midco Sports Plus. Fans that do not have Midco Sports must subscribe to Midco Sports Plus to view contests (available via web browser, via Android or IOS app or on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku). A monthly subscription will give fans full access to all 14 NSIC tournament games played at the Sanford Pentagon. Fans would also have access to all Midco Sports Plus content during the duration of their subscription. Subscriptions are for 30 days from the date of registration and can be cancelled at any time. Midco Sports Plus is a standalone product and fans do not need to have any other Midco services.
On Saturday, March 2, the NSIC and Sanford Sports Basketball Academy will host a FREE clinic for both boys and girls in grades 3-8. For full clinic information visit the NSIC release HERE. Sunday, March 3 will be Military Appreciation Day, with all military personnel (and one guest), receiving a complimentary general admission ticket with their military identification.
