Duluth, MN (NSUWolves.com) – The No. 25 Northern State University football team fell to (RV) Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, facing offensive woes throughout the contest. With the loss, the Wolves drop to 5-2 overall and 4-2 in the Northern Sun.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs scored early with 14 points in the opening quarter and added six in the second, seven in the third, and seven in the fourth
- The Wolves tallied their lone touchdown of the afternoon with just 1:07 remaining on the clock as Joey Dube-Garrett connected with Brodey Sauerwein for the tight end’s first career touchdown
- Northern recorded 60 yards rushing and 122 yards passing in the game, while Duluth notched 142 yards rushing and 201 yards passing
- NSU struggled in late down situations, going 1-of-13 on third down and 0-of-5 on fourth down, while UMD converted at rates of 50.0% on third down and 100.0% on fourth down
- The Wolves defense recorded seven tackles for a loss, including one sack from NSU career sacks leader Gabe Gutierrez, as well as one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries by Jake Adams
- Ty Englehart threw for 86 yards, while Dube-Garrett added 36 yards and the touchdown for the Wolves
