Wolves Fall in Swimming & Diving Action

Aberdeen, SD (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State women’s swimming and diving team fell to MSU Moorhead, 142-79, on Saturday afternoon. Jacie Flockhart kicked the day with new school record in the one-meter dive, surpassing her own previous record set earlier this season. The Wolves secured 13 top-three finishes throughout the day.

 

WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS

  • Jacie Flockhart started the day strong with a second-place finish in the one-meter dive, scoring 396.90
  • The team of Mia Fursedonne, Emma Beavers, Sidney Masgras, and Mazie Finch took third place in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:57.99
  • Abbegael Nynas followed with a second-place finish in the 1000 freestyle, touching the wall at 11:19.54
  • In the 200 freestyle, Haley Osborne and Laila Gordillo finished first and third, respectively, with times of 1:58.40 and 2:06.74
  • Fursedonne and Finch claimed second and third place finishes in the 50 freestyle, clocking in at 26.14 and 26.57
  • Brianna Back earned second place in the 200 individual medley, finishing with a time of 2:26.07
  • Osborne grabbed the gold in the 100 freestyle with a winning time of 55.06
  • Nynas and Beavers followed with back-to-back second-place finishes in the 500 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, posting times of 5:35.83 and 1:13.86, respectively
  • Northern State wrapped up the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay, posting a time of 3:51.31. The relay team included Osborne, Finch, Back, and Emma Moore
