Wolves Finish in Fifth Place In Moorhead

Fargo, ND (NSUWolves.com) –The Northern State swim team concludes the Dragon Invite with a fifth-place finish. Lilly Grebner paved the way with two first place finishes in the 200 fly and 200 IM.


  • Haley Osborne kicked off the day with a second-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:59.22
  • Maddie Gonzales kept it rolling for the Wolves with a fifth-place finish in the 100 back hitting the wall at 1:02.48
  • Lilly Grebner notched two first place finishes in the 200 fly and the 200 IM with times of 2:11.35 and 2:12.68 respectively
  • In the 50 free, Osborne grabbed a sixth-place finish, hitting the wall at 25.81
  • The Wolves finished the day with a sixth-place finish in the 800 free relay, the team of Grebner, Tayla Liddle, Annalise Olsson, and Osborne hit the wall at 8:22.83
  • Norther State concludes the Dragon Invite in fifth place with 403.5 total points


Northern Statereturns home to take on the University of Mary and Southwest Minnesota State on Friday, January 26th and the Pentathlon on Saturday, January 27th from the Aberdeen YMCA. The Schedule for the dual and Pentathlon will be posted when available on the schedule page on nsuwolves.com.
