Wolves Named To All-NSIC Team(s)

Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) [MBB] – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2023-24 All-Conference teams with Northern State Wolves Jacksen Moni and Josh Dilling honored. Moni was named to the first team, while Dilling landed on the second team.

Moni started all 29 games in his junior campaign leading the team averaging 21.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per contest. He scored the 1000th point of his career and currently ranks 19th all-time with 1,527 points. In addition, the forward sits 22nd all-time with 559 career rebounds. Moni shot 47.4% from the floor, 32.9% from the 3-point line, and 88.6% from the foul line. He racked up 103 assists, 26 blocks, and 23 steals. Moni closed out the regular season ranked second in scoring, third in rebounding, and first in free throw percentage in the Northern Sun. The Fargo native knocked down career highs in points (40 vs. WSU), rebounds (16 vs. SCSU), and assists (7 vs. WSC). Moni recorded eight double-doubles on the year, earned two NSIC Player of the Week nods, and was named a D2CIDA National Player of the Week. He is now a 3-time NSIC All-Conference performer and back-to-back first team member.

Dilling started every game for the Wolves this season averaging 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. He shot a team leading 52.3% from the floor and 46.1% from the 3-point line with 71 made 3-pointers. Dilling also became a career 1000 point scorer in 2023-24 with 1,281 points, 859 of which have come in a Wolves uniform. He closed out the regular season ranked fourth in field goal percentage, second in assists, fifth in assist/turnover ratio, and third in minutes played in the Northern Sun. Dilling tallied career highs in points (37 vs. MSU) and rebounds (8 vs. UMD). He garnered NSIC Player of the Week honors early in the season and is a first time NSIC All-Conference selection.

Burnsville, MN (NSUWolves.com) [WBB] – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2023-24 All-Conference teams with Northern State Wolves Madelyn Bragg and Rianna Fillipi honored on the first team.

Bragg started every game this season, leading Northern State averaging 17.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. She is shooting 51.6% from the floor and 78.3% from the foul line. The sophomore added a team best 48 blocks, as well as 34 steals and 32 assists. She recorded four double-doubles and recorded career highs in points (35 vs. UMD) and rebounds (13 vs. WSU). Bragg earned NSIC Player of the Week honors in week 10 and was a multiple week member of the NSIC Shining Five. She closed out the regular season ranked third in scoring, eighth in rebounding, third in field goal percentage, and third in blocked shots in the Northern Sun. This is the first NSIC All-Conference honor of the Aberdeen native’s career.

Fillipi started all 28 games in her junior campaign, pacing the Northern State offense with a league leading 139 assists. She averaged 5.0 assists per game and tallied an NSIC leading 1.9 assist/turnover ratio. Fillipi enters the postseason averaging 12.7 points and a team best 7.1 rebounds per game. She became a member of the Northern State 1000-point club in just her third season, ranking her 27th all-time with 1,174 points. In addition, she is 31st all-time with 552 career rebounds. Fillipi tallied career highs in rebounds (13 vs. AU) and steals (8 vs. BSU) this season. She recorded six double-doubles and ranks 18th in scoring, fifth in rebounding, first in assists and assist/turnover ratio, and third in steals in the Northern Sun. She is a 3-time NSIC All-Conference performer and first time first team member.
