Bismarck, ND (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State women’s swimming and diving team secured third place with a total score of 578.5, competing against UMary and Concordia-St. Paul. Haley Osborne powered the Wolves with seven top-ten finishes, while Jacie Flockhart made a standout performance, earning second place in the one-meter dive.
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
- Northern State kicked off the day with a fifth-place finish in the 200 medley relay, hitting the wall at 1:58.95. Relay members included Abbegael Nynas, Emma Beavers, Sidney Masgras, and Haley Osborne.
- In the 50 back, Osborne and Eydie Bruestle took seventh and eighth with times of 29.35 and 29.49, respectively.
- Jocelyn Dirksen and Osborne took eighth and tenth place in the 50 breast, hitting the wall at 33.51 and 33.93.
- Osborne kept it rolling for the Wolves with back-to-back sixth-place finishes in the 50 fly and 50 free, with times of 28.00 and 25.36, respectively.
- Jacie Flockhart took second place in the one-meter dive with a score of 215.65.
- In the 100 IM, Osborne took fifth place, hitting the wall at 1:03.09.
- A team of Moore, Osborne, Fursedonne, and Mazie Finish closed out the day for NSU with second-place finish in the 200 free relay with a time of 2:17.04.
- The Wolves took third place on the day with a score of 578.5.

Northern State concluded the first half of the season and will return after the New Year to face MSU Moorhead. The meet is scheduled for January 18 at 2 p.m. at the Aberdeen YMCA.
