Manheim, PA (NSUWolves.com) – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released their second round of NCAA Division II national rankings yesterday with Northern State ranked tied for 13th. The Wolves garnered 32 team points with four individually ranked wrestlers.
Individuals ranked include No. 11 Jason Henschel Jr. (133), making his NWCA D2 debut, No. 1 Wyatt Turnquist (149), No. 10 Devin Bahr (157), and No. 7 Cole Huss (197).
The Wolves are joined by in region opponents No. 5 St. Cloud State, No. 5 UMary, No. 7 Parkside, No. 9 Upper Iowa, No. 18 Augustana, No. 25 Minot State, and (RV) Southwest Minnesota State.
Northern continues dual action on Thursday hosting No. 18 Augustana in NSIC action. The dual will begin at 7 p.m. from Wachs Arena. It’s youth night with all kids granted free admission.
