Aberdeen, S.D. (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State softball team is hosting their inaugural Hit-a-Thon and Homerun Derby from Fossum Field on Sunday, October 4. The family friendly event is open to participants of all ages.

In addition to the homerun competition, which begins a 1 p.m., and a free will donation lunch will be available beginning at 12 p.m. from the complex. Cost to participate in the homerun derby is $2 per swing. Every homerun you hit will increase your chances of winning a raffle prize! Participants can pre-register at http://nsuwolves.com/soft/hrderby or sign-up the day of, however all pre-registrations will be entered into a prize drawing.

Don’t want to hit yourself? No problem! Participants are also able to sponsor a Northern State softball player hit or choose to make a one-time donation to the program.
