ABERDEEN, SD (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University football team is on campus and set for the 2023 season which officially kicks off on Thursday, August 31 in Bemidji. The Wolves were picked seventh in the NSIC Preseason Coaches’ Poll earning 75 points. Not only was Ian Marshall tabbed as the team’s defensive player to watch, but he also earned NSIC Preseason Player of the Year honors. After a sidelined season, Dewaylon Ingram returns to the Northern State gridiron as the Wolves offensive player to watch in 2023. Each game this season when the Wolves are at “The Bank” there will be a new theme for each game. Those themes can be found in the table below.
