Wolves T&F Puts Up Outstanding #’s In No Dak

Jamestown, ND (NSUWolves.com) – Northern State University track and field teams competed in the Al Cassell Classic meet. The Wolves tallied 32 new personal record and 21 first place finishes.

MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • Chris Weber won the 100m event and had a new personal record with a time of 10.76
  • Ty Kadlec and Noah Bayer placed fourth and fifth in the 100m finishing in times of 11.15 and 11.16
  • Eli Radtke and Isaac Ligon placed third and fourth in the 110m hurdles in times of 16.12 and 17.35, for Radtke this was a personal record
  • Noah Bayer and Chris Weber swept first and second in the 200m dash in times of 21.89 and 21.99
  • Drew Salfrank won the 400m and Carter Dingman placed fifth in the 400m with times of 48.95 and 51.13
  • Drew Henriksen ran a new personal record in 56.67 placing him third and Joel Matehs placed fourth in a time of 57.61 in the 400m hurdles
  • Josh Martin was the first to the finish line in the 800m with a time of 1:55.25
  • Turner Thorson had a new personal record of 2:01.68 placing fourth and Blake Stoks took fifth place in a time of 2:03.04 in the 800m
  • Nathan Alto had a career best and won the 1500m in a time of 3:59.42
  • Josh Martin followed in second with a time of 4:00.93 and Jonathan Burkhalter placed fourth with a new personal record of 4:02.74
  • Nick Olson placed third in the hammer throw with a mark of 53.64m
  • Vance Borchers placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.85m
  • Levi Reis won the javelin throw with a distance of 60.00m
  • Damon Roggenbuck had a new personal record of 56.55m placing him second and Carson Barnett placed fifth with a throw of 50.86m
  • Treyson Schulz placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.85m
  • Noah Ford won the men’s pole vault event with a height of 4.43m
  • Isaac LigonEli Radtke, and Sean Juengst placed second, third, and fifth in pole vault with heights of 4.13m, 4.13m, and 3.53m
  • Ethan Barnett took fourth in shot put with a throw of 13.83m
  • Treyson Schulz out jumped his competitors to take first place in triple jump with a mark of 14.00m
  • The men’s 4x100m relay took first place with members Chris WeberJoel MatehsNoah Bayer, and Drew Salfrank in a time of 42.25
  • The men’s 4x400m also took first place with athletes Drew HenriksenDamon RoggenbuckTurner Thorson, and Josh Martin in a time of 3:27.35

WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • Renea Taylor placed first in both the 100m and 400m hurdles clocking times of 12.16 and 1:05.60
  • The Wolves took the 100m hurdles by storm placing second through fifth with athletes Morgan SheldonKarli KleinAddison Cumbow, and Tayla Dobrenski; Sheldon clocked 15.60, Klein had a personal record of 15.64, Cumbow finished in 15.93, and Dobrenski had a career best of 16.04
  • Kyanna Collymore won the 400m in a time of 58.19
  • Summer Carlson had a personal record of 58.19 placing third and Alli Jackson clocked 1:00.66 placing fifth in the 400m
  • Elisabet Osk Jonsdottir, Emma Hunt, and Karli Klein all accomplished new personal records in the 400m hurdles placing second through fourth in times of 1:07.74, 1:08.69, and 1:09.36
  • Summer Carlson took first in the 800m with a time of 2:18.48
  • Sheridyn winter had a new personal record in the 800m with a time of 2:37.45
  • Megan Pickering won the 1500m with a new personal record of 4:48.02
  • Jolie Dugan was the first to the finish line in the 3,000m steeple with a time of 13:01.51
  • Andie Mehrer won the discuss throw with a new personal record of 41.55m
  • Cassidy Gough won the hammer throw with a mark of 48.17m
  • Jordan Tshumperlin jump the highest in high jump with a mark of 1.61m
  • Emily Breske and Morgan Sheldon placed third and fifth with heights of 1.56m and 1.51m in the high jump
  • Tayla Dobrenski and Addison Cumbow placed fourth and fifth in the long jump with marks of 5.12m and 4.86m
  • Bekah Walz placed second in pole vault with a height of 3.55m
  • Kamryn Schwartz took first place in triple jump with a distance of 10.89m
