Wolves VB Ranked 10th in Final Regional Rankings

Indianapolis, IN – The NCAA released the second women’s volleyball rankings of the season earlier today with the Northern State University Wolves sitting tenth in the Central Region. Northern holds a Division II record of 17-8 and in-region record of 16-8.
NSU is joined by NSIC opponents No. 1 Wayne State, No. 2 Concordia-St. Paul, No. 3 Southwest Minnesota State, No. 7 Minnesota Duluth, No. 8 St. Cloud State, and No. 9 Winona State.
The NSIC, the Mid-America Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC) make up the 38-team NCAA Central Region. The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA region tournament on November 30- December 3. Automatic bids are granted to the winners of the MIAA, GAC and NSIC postseason tournaments, with the remaining five spots awarded on an at-large basis.

The NCAA Volleyball selection show will be streamed online on Monday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. (CT) on NCAA.com. The championship quarterfinals, semifinals and final match will take place Thursday-Saturday, December 7-10, at the UPMC Events Center in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
