Sioux Falls, SD (NSUWolves.com) [FRI – Day 3] – The Northern State University swim team finished the day in seventh place in the overall standings. The Wolves recorded multiple seasons best and personal best time from the day.
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
- Haley Osborne finished in 12th place in the 500 free hitting the wall at 5:12.09 to start the night
- Lilly Grebner took the top spot in the 200 fly with a time of 2:03.24; Grebner’s time qualified under the NCAA ‘B’ cut standard
- In the 200 free relay, the team of Grebner, Mia Fursedonne, Annalise Olsson, and Osborne finished in seventh place recording a time of 1:37.82
- The Northern State ‘B’ followed behind in 16th place hitting the wall at 1:43.05; relay members include Brianna Back, Tayla Liddle, Stella Bullis, and Hilary Sonnabend
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Mia Fursedonne recorded a new personal best in the 100 back with a time of 59.94
- Lilly Grebner notched a new personal best in the 200 fly hitting the wall at 2:03.24 and in the 50 free of the relay with a time of 23.98
- Brianna Back recorded a new personal best in the 50 free of the relay with a time of 29.94
- Maddie Gonzales notched a new season best in the 100 back recording a time of 59.59

Sioux Falls, SD (NSUWolves.com) [SAT – Day 4] – The Northern State University swim team recorded an eighth place finish to close out the NSIC Championships. The day saw Haley Osborn notched a NCAA ‘B’ cut standard time in the 100 free while finishing in sixth place.
WOLVES HIGHLIGHTS
- Lilly Grebner kicked off the day with a second-place finish in the 100 IM hitting the wall at 57.11
- In the 100 free, Haley Osborne finished in sixth place with a time of 52.06; Osborne’s time qualified under the NCAA ‘B’ cut standard
- Maddie Gonzales took 12th place in the 200 back recording a time of 2:07
- Brianna Back finished in 15th place in the 200 breast hitting the wall at 2:33.39
- The team of Back, Annalise Olsson, Tayla Liddle, and Mia Fursedonne took ninth place in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:41.92
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE NSIC CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Lilly Grebner grabbed a first place finish in the 200 IM hitting the wall at 2:04.32; Grebner’s time qualified under the NCAA ‘B’ cut standard
- The 200 free relay team of Mia Fursedonne, Hilary Sonnabend, Georgy Turner, and Stella Bullis broke the previous school record of 1:47.96 set in 2023 by a team of Maddie Gonzales, Mayson Sheldon, Lauren Forsyth, Delaney Ryken
- Grebner recorded her second NSIC championship in the 400 IM hitting the wall at 4:27.10; Grebner’s time qualified under the NCAA ‘B” cut standard
- In the 200 fly Grebner took the top sport on day three in the 200 fly with a time of 2:03.24; Grebner’s time qualified under the NCAA ‘B’ cut standard
UP NEXT
Northern State will await the announcement of NCAA Championship selections. The NCAA Championships are set to begin March 13th and will run till March 16th from Geneva Ohio.
