Jamestown, ND (NSUWolves.com) – The Northern State University cross country teams tallied two top-10 finishers from the University of Jamestown Jimmie Invite on Friday. The Northern women took fourth with an average 6k time of 23:49.00, while the men took seventh with an average 8k time of 28:52.0.
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
- Eddie Burlingame led the way for the men in 33rd with a time of 27:43.2, followed by Phoenix Anderson with a time of 28:04.6 in 35th
- Zachary Palmer, Marco Springman, and Zachary Terrio rounded out the top-5 for the Wolves with times of 28:26.2, 28:34.9, and 28:46.2; Palmer and Terrio each ran personal bests in the race
- Turner Thorson was the final Wolf in competition, finishing with a time of 31:31.5
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
- Emaleigh Olesiak led the way for the second straight meet, finishing as the Jimmie Invite runner-up with a personal best time of 22:01.7
- Abby Hasart followed in the top-10, taking seventh overall with a personal best of her own, crossing the finish line in 22:35.7
- The trio of Gwen Richter, Madisyn Gelhaus, and Kendal Uttecht finished 25th, 28th, and 30th with times of 24:01.8, 24:12.2, and 24:19.4 respectively
- Grace LeClair, Madeline Nye, and Allison Lundin rounded out the Northern State finishers with times of 24:43.9, 24:44.5, and 24:52.1
