Woman abducted in Sioux Falls found dead

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) – Police say a woman abducted in Sioux Falls has been found dead. The body of Pasqalina Esen Badi was found Monday afternoon along a road just outside the Sioux Falls city limits.

Police said Tuesday that a 19-year-old man who was identified as a “person of interest” in Badi’s abduction is being held on prior warrants. Police say they think he may have tried to abduct two other women before Badi. She disappeared soon after leaving work around 5 a.m. Sunday. An autopsy is planned for this week.
