WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT) —A California woman was injured over the weekend in a motorcycle crash between Watertown and Henry.

Codington County Sheriff Brad Howell says 35 year-old Elaine Scott was eastbound on Highway 212 at 444th Avenue on Saturday morning when she lost control and skidded into the ditch.

An eyewitness to the crash took Scott to Prairie Lakes Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Howell says Scott was wearing a helmet and other protective equipment.
