TUTHILL, S.D. (Press Release) – An 83-year-old woman died Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle rollover north of Tuthill.
The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of family. She was the only person involved.
A 2007 Chevrolet Malibu was northbound on 237th Avenue, traveling around a curve when it left the roadway. The vehicle entered the east ditch, tipped and rolled.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
