Women’s suffrage exhibit on display at Aberdeen Regional Airport

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – There is a new look to the lobby of the Aberdeen Regional Airport. It is a Women’s Suffrage display courtesy of the Dacotah Prairie Museum.

Lora Schaunaman, Curator of Exhibits at the museum, said the display has been up for about two weeks.

Schaunaman said this region of the country played a key role in women obtaining the right to vote.

She said the spot is a high traffic area that reaches an audience that might not come to the museum.

Schaunaman said the airport is a great place to feature an exhibit.
