ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Things are looking up these days at the Aberdeen Regional Airport.
Work is progressing on a major project at the facility and enplanements are up, according to Rich Krokel, City Transportation Director.
Krokel talked about the runway project, which is about half completed.
He said the plan is to finish the rest of the project by October.
Krokel said the number of people flying in and out of Aberdeen have increased and that number should continue to go up with the addition of flights during pheasant hunting season.
Meanwhile, the number of people using Rideline have also increased.
Those interested in a part-time paid position with Rideline should contact City Hall or Rideline at (605) 626-3333.
