Workforce not discussed much at the South Dakota legislature

DAKOTA DUNES, S.D.(WNAX)- Finding and developing workforce has been a major issue for South Dakota legislators over the past few sessions, but it’s been pretty quiet this year.

District 17 Representative Bill Shorma of Dakota Dunes says there have been some minor steps.

Shorma says the state is growing in spite of their efforts.

Shorma says the workforce growth is very slow.

Shorma owns a manufacturing plant in Springfield and deals with the workforce shortages.
