ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – While the weather outside looks like winter, next week the focus will be on camping.

The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will begin taking reservations for Wylie Park Campground on Monday, Jan. 4. Mark Hoven, Director at Parks, Rec and Forestry, talked about the event.

He said people can begin making reservations at 7 a.m. on Monday.

Hoven said the current pandemic did nothing to slow down the popularity of camping.

Not only are the camping spots popular, so are the permanent cabins.
