ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – While the camping season is months away, the preparation for camping season is just days away.

Reservations for campsites at Wylie Park Campground will start on Monday, Jan. 6. Mark Hoven, Director of the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department, said people can began making reservations at 7 a.m.

He said the online component has become a very popular option.

Hoven said spots fill up quickly on opening day, especially for weekend dates.
