YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce has hired a new Tourism Director. Jay Gravholt will be joining late next month.

Gravholt says the town has attractions beyond the Missouri River and Lewis & Clark Lake.

Gravholt says he would like to see more groups come to the area.

Gravholt is a former news paper reporter and media director for Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.
