Yankton City Commission approve land for Paradigm Technologies

YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Yankton City Commission approved selling eight acres of city owned land to a startup technology company.

Dr Kyle Kenfield of Paradigm Technologies says they were looking for a friendly location.

Kenfield says his company is planning to make rifles.

Community and Economic Development Director Dave Mingo says the land, on the old Human Services Center campus, was not going to see retail development.

The city is selling eight acres for two hundred thousand dollars.

Kenefield says they are planning on a forty thousand square foot building at a cost of four and a half to five million dollars.
