YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Yankton City Commission may soon be looking at rental housing standards.

City Manager Amy Leon says the Community Development Office is involved.

Leon says she knows there were attempts to come up with some regulations in the past.

Mayor Stephanie Moser says they have heard from the public about issues with rental housing.

Currently, only zoning laws apply to rental housing.
